Newbury Street went car-free on Sunday, August 7th for the first ever Open Newbury Street. Between 10 am and 6 pm, shoppers, diners, and strollers meandered up and down Newbury Street, taking advantage of the exclusive promotions and exciting experiences offered by Newbury retailers and the City. From four square and Adirondack chairs in the street to sidewalk gelato and extended patios perfect for people watching, Open Newbury was the perfect way to spend a warm Sunday afternoon.
