Holiday shopping on Newbury Street really combines the best of both worlds; find gifts from your favorite brand-name retailers right alongside selections from local craftsman, makers, and small businesses, and then wrap the evening with dinner at one of the many delicious restaurants that line this historical destination.
This Saturday we are proud to present Newbury for the Holidays! On the heels of last summer’s Open Newbury, we’re excited to host a day of holiday-centric activations and specials from our retailers and tenants. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate from Marine Layer, Steven Alan, Stephanie’s on Newbury (3-5pm), and savings upwards of 20% at No Rest For Bridget, G Star Raw, 47 Brand, and more.
As you shop the street take note of the festive holiday decor you’ll spot adorning the windows and doorways along the street. Throughout the remainder of the year, make note of your favorite and cast your vote using the QR codes that you’ll see posted throughout the street. Winner will be selected December 21st.
And last but not least, back on the heels of a successful 2016 season, The Shop will move and reopen at 220 Newbury Street from Mid October through the end of December will be dedicated to hosting a series of 1-2 week pop-up programs to include but are not limited to: pop-ups, sample sales, unique retail treatments and ongoing events.
“The Shop” is a platform designed as a landing pad for growing brands and experiential retail. As part of The Newbury Collection, the driving force behind the majority of short-term activity, The Shop will function as an incubator program that hosts a series of rapidly rotating pop ups. Local entrepreneurs and well-established brands alike will be given the opportunity to showcase their unique products and story to Boston’s thriving retail consumer base. Previous tenants of “The Shop” include: Gretta Luxe, JE11, Lark hotels, York Athletics, Burton Snowboards, Gelato Fiasco and many others.
Whoever you’re shopping for this holiday season you’re sure to find the perfect gift somewhere along the street!
