Movie night at Patagonia

Friday March 30th

Please join Patagonia at 346 Newbury Street as they screen the short film “Monumental” on Friday March 30th. Doors open at 7:30  & the movie starts at 7:45!

Enjoy light snacks, refreshments and enter a raffle for a chance to win some Patagonia gear. Appalachian mountain club will  be on sit to have a discussion about movie and preserving the monument.

The film showcases a journey through Katahdin Woods and Waters in the heart of Maine. The expedition was lead and filmed by 4 Maine native photographers. The three-part, 64-mile journey through miles of serene forest, winding rivers, and exquisite mountain peaks, is as fascinating as it is breathtaking. Join us to view the adventure as they canoe, bike and hike their way through this stunning, beauty that is in our own backyard.

Kicking off the first leg of the trip with a 22-mile canoe trip down the east branch of the Penobscot River.

A 21-mile bike ride along the Katahdin Loop Road, was up next  on the second part of the journey.

Finishing off the trip with a 21-mile hike down the International Appalachian Trail back to their starting point.
